Lady in Pink
San Diego Comic-con 2012

I’m so excited to announce that we have a piece in Cartoon Network’s upcoming Adventure Time exhibition taking place at SDCC this year! (I was seriously jumping up and down the day CN contacted us.) It’ll be on display from Wednesday, July 11th, until Sunday, July 15th at the New Children’s Museum in San Diego (directly across from the convention center). If you’re going to SDCC this year, check it out! More details are available here.

Felted with hand-dyed, all natural wool. Painted grass base. Glitter details. All together the piece is 10 1/2” x 7 3/4” inside a clear dome.

Just wanted to let you guys know we’re doing a giveaway in case you don’t follow me there! Just click the link for more info. Thanks so much! ❤

Shop Announcement: Grand Opening!
mathclub.storenvy.com

This Saturday, June 16th at 11am PST

Thanks so much for your patience everyone! We’ll have a limited number of the needle felted Jakes (an online numbered edition of 50), 20 of the Sailor Time print, 15 of Cat Soup, 20 Totoro, and 14 of the Adventure Time 8-Bit print. We will not be making or reprinting any of these items again.

And just a heads up, unfortunately all prints will have to be shipped separately from any Jakes due to the odd shapes. Lemme know if you guys have any questions! I can’t express enough how appreciative we are for all your patience. We can’t wait to bring you more stuff in the future.

Made this diorama for a friend’s girl’s birthday! Hope she likes it!

Felted with hand-dyed, all natural wool. Painted night sky base topped with iridescent antique gold glitter. All together the piece is 10 1/2” x 7 3/4” inside a clear dome.

Current material.

Things I need to stop putting off buying:

  • large cutting mat
  • Winsor & Newton pocket watercolor set
  • waterproof pen
  • dremel
  • folding palette
  • proper watercolor paper
  • a compass

You don’t want know what I’ve been using instead. Though the discount paper plates I’ve been using in place of a small palette have been great! (They also double as great drying racks for clay pieces and brushes once you flip them over and punch some holes. But when I’m painting for reals, I bust out some glass I took out of some old picture frames which may or not be the safest but they’re a breezeee to color match on and clean.) Anyway, off to cut some mystery plastic with a hand saw… Maybe I’ll catch some of you later at the ER. ;3
